A cashmere three-quarter with pockets, the Innsbruck is a maroon mélange that features two hand-embroidered feathers beneath the folds of the shawl collar and a third on the back, where loose strands of mélange yarn represent the tufted, wispy fluff appearing naturally near the bottom of most feathers, especially those belonging to birds of prey. The word feather also can be used to describe the weight of this luxurious sweater, and the mélange coloration to the sky of a red prairie dawn or the blooming blush on a new bride’s cheek. As always, this original design is signed and numbered by Robert Comstock.
